IN MEMORY OF IAN LEANING



Ian "Bubba" A. Leaning, 57, of Laurel Lane died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Kingston Hospital. Born March 28, 1955 in Scunthorpe, United Kingdom, he was the son of Edward Leaning and the late Hettie Leaning. An area resident since 1999 he previously resided in Pittsburgh, PA. He earned a Masters in Business Administration from Trinity College in Washington, DC; an Electrical Engineering Degree at Germiston Technical College. Accredited South African Industrial Technicians Degree, Johannesburg, South Africa.

A decorated Veteran of the South African Armed Forces; he served 23 years in active combat and special forces. Duly served and ranked as Captain in 22 Squadron, Special Air Service, and awarded in Counter Insurgency Long and Short Range operations. He was recognized by US Government for his services as a consultant to the US Armed Forces on a Anti Terrorism Task Force during 9/11. He was currently employed as a Operations Manager of the Nortlite Corp. of Cohoes. A former Elder of Katsbaan Reformed Church. He was a former employee of Solite and a former member of the Saugerties Planning Board. He was fluent in 9 languages.

Besides his Father, Survivors include his wife, the former Irene Starr, with whom he recently celebrated his 14th Wedding Anniversary. 4 Sons: Kenneth of United Kingdom,Garth of South Africa, Owen and Erik both of Saugerties. 3 Daughters: Frances of United Kingdom, Olivia and Elizabeth Starr Westwood, both of Saugerties. 3 Sisters: Elise Scholtz, Rebecca Botha, and Denise Griffiths. 7 Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews also survive. He was predeceased by a Son: Malcolm Leaning.

His Funeral Service will be held 3:15 PM Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. Of John & Lafayette Sts. Friends will be received Saturday from 2:00 PM - 3:15 PM. IN MEMORY OF RUTH TREVAIL



Ruth Marie Trevail, age 84 of Catskill, peacefully passed away on January 30, 2012 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson where she had been a patient since Friday. She had been a former resident at Kaaterskill Care in Catskill.

Mrs. Trevail was born in Westerlo on October 11, 1927 to the late Jesse and Grace May Boomhower Clickman. She was an active member of the Katsbaan Reformed Church and their Ladies' Aid Society as well as a well-know and respected community volunteer.
She is survived by her husband Albertus H. Trevail, Sr. and their six children: Albertus H. Trevail, Jr. and his wife Odaria, Mrs. John (Linda) Adsit, Gene Trevail and his wife Janice, Theodore Trevail and his wife Christine, Dennis Trevail and his wife Cindi, and Valerie Anderson; in addition to fifteeen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother John Clickman and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven siblings.

Friends and relatives are invited to gather at the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home at 139 Jefferson Heights in Catskill on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Katsbaan Reformed Church on Old Kings Road in Catskill. IN MEMORY OF MICHAEL PANKE

Michael J. Panke SAUGERTIES - Michael J. Panke, Sr. departed this life Thursday, May 12th, 2011 at home.

He worked as a Civil Engineer for N.Y.S. D.O.T. He was born Jan. 14th, 1952 in Aurora, Colo. to the late Ann Golliday Panke Bell and John J. Panke. He is survived by Patricia Breitung, Arline Breitung, Ernest and Joy Breitung of Jacksonville, Fla; his children: Michael Jr. of Woodstock, Jo, Rose, and Karen at home; his siblings: Susan Carson (David) of Natick Mass., Elizabeth Burridge of Danvers, Mass., Jo (John Paris) of Tyngsboro, Mass., Mark (Sen) of Langhorne, Pa., Jean Bessette (Michael) of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., Mary Ruby (William) of Malden-on-Hudson, John Jr. (Paula) of Ruby, and Christopher of Levittown, Pa.; and by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his sister Jenny and his former wife Maureen Quinn Panke.

He will be remembered by all who knew him for his intelligence, friendliness, and his love of his children, reading, his pets, and the outdoors. IN MEMORY OF BARBARA TICE

Barbara M. Tice, 77, formerly of Lauren Tice Road died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in Gulfport, Miss. Born March 15, 1934 in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Anna Campbell Tice.

A lifetime area resident she was employed for many years as a Health Teacher in the Catskill Central School and later as a dental hygenist in Saugerties. She was an active member of the Katsbann Reformed Church for over 60 years and taught in the Sunday School for many years as well as being an active member of the Ladies Aide Society. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Saxton Fire Company.

Survivors include one brother: Robert Tice of Whispering Pines, N.C. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother: Richard Tice.

Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., cor. Of John & Lafayette Sts. Saugerties. Friends will be received Thursday 6 to 8:00 p.m. The Auxiliary of the Saxton Fire Comp. will gather at 7:15 p.m. Burial will follow the service in the Katsbaan Cemetery. SAUGERTIES....Frances B. Elliott, 88, Malden Turnpike died Sunday, January 20, 2008 at her residence after a brief illness.

Born December 24, 1919 in Saugerties she was the daughter of the late William and Verna Rightmyer Elliott. A lifetime area resident she was a member of the Katsbaan Reformed Church. She was a self employed Antique Dealer and at one time did work for Macy's in New York City. She was an artist and loved to oil paint.

Survivors include 1 Sister: Patricia Whitaker of Saugerties and 1 Niece. Her Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Corner of John & Lafayette Streets with the Rev. James Alley, Pastor of the Katsbaan Reformed Church officiating. Spring Interment will be in the Katsbaan Cemetery, Saugerties.
